The Association for the Blind of WA - Guide Dogs WA administers an Awards Program every two years. Nominations for the 2010 Awards Program opened on February 22 2010 and closed on March 31 2010.

An awards ceremony was held in May 2010 to announce the winners and honour all of the nominees.

The Association's Awards Program focuses on recognising the social and academic achievements of people who are blind or vision impaired. The focus is also on providing opportunities for people who are blind or vision impaired to develop independent living skills.
