On Friday 23 December local Claremont yoga company SunSalute Yoga celebrated Christmas and the season of giving in a very different way.
In 2011, SunSalute Yoga founder Marc Potter donated $5 to Guide Dogs WA for every student who joined him for 50 SunSalutations at the company's Christmas breakfast.
Family and partners of students, along with the local community, were welcome to join in for a gold coin donation.

‘Anyone can make a difference to the lives of people who are blind or vision impaired in Western Australia by creating their own fundraising event and getting the community involved,' said Dr Margaret Crowley, Chief Executive Officer at the Association.
‘To ensure fair access for all, our Guide Dogs are provided free of charge to people who are blind or vision impaired. Each Guide Dog puppy costs more than $30,000 to raise and train. We rely entirely on the generosity of the community and companies just like SunSalute Yoga to support our Guide Dog Program.'
'SunSalute Yoga raised a massive $645 for the Association and Guide Dogs WA. Thank you to the team for their support this festive season'.
