Library Resource Centre
The Dr Geoff Gallop Library Resource Centre allows borrowers to browse and borrow items from our shelves of resources, which include:
- Audio and Braille books
- Audio described DVDs
- Children's tactile kits, games and toys.
Library users can connect to the internet wirelessly using their own laptops or mobile devices to surf the web or download talking books from our catalogue. Expert customer service staff assist with enquiries and requests and demonstrate equipment.
Comfortable chairs and listening posts provide opportunities to relax and listen to our audio material. We have assistive technology available including:
- DAISY talking book players
- Video magnifiers
- Text-to-speech scanner
- Computers with internet access.
The Library Resource Centre is located at the Association's Perron Centre in Victoria Park. Please note that the Library Resource Centre is only available to clients of the Association.
