Register your interest now if you would like to enrol in the Certificate 1 in Business. Class numbers are limited and subject to funding so don't miss out on your opportunity to undertake our specialised, nationally accredited training in Semester 2.
Certificate 1 in Business is a 20 week course and has 6 units. It is designed for those who want to develop basic computer skills as well as being an introduction to the skills required in business.
The course includes keyboarding, basic word processing, email and internet, communication skills and Occupational Health and Safety. It takes six months to complete attending classes two days per week.

Course Outlines
Certificate 3 in Business
Certificate 3 in Business has 12 units and provides advanced skills in Microsoft applications. This course is extremely useful if you are considering further study, seeking work or are currently employed and wish to develop or update your skills. This certificate includes advanced word processing, advanced spreadsheets (Excel), database (Access), Outlook email and scheduling as well as general office skills. It takes one year to complete attending class two days per week.
Braille for the Sighted
This is an ideal course for those who live, care or work with Braille users or those who would like to transcribe Braille.
Classes run during term time and are self paced. The course usually takes 20 weeks to complete. There is a class on Wednesday mornings however we are also trialing running the course remotely.

Cisco Academy
Cisco qualifications are recognised throughout the world and can lead to employment in the information technology industry. They can be obtained using a mixture of online and practical resources provided by the Cisco Academy. All resources are accessible to people with vision impairment.
Students may choose to study in a classroom environment supported by a qualified Cisco instructor or study externally. Students choosing the external study option will need appropriate technology to access the course materials.
