International Guide Dog Day Street Appeal goes virtual!

Earlier this year we put a call out for people to lend-a-paw at our annual International Guide Dog Day Street Appeal on 29 April 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 virus and in line with Government advice, we are unable to go ahead with our original plans for the Street Appeal and are currently exploring alternative options to celebrate International Guide Dog Day and raise much-needed funds for the training program.

We look forward to sharing with our supporters and the wider Western Australian community, the amazing work of our Guide Dogs and the freedom and independence, hope and joy they provide Western Australians living with low vision and blindness.

Very soon we will announce details about how you can get involved in our Virtual Street Appeal and celebrate International Guide Dog Day online and remotely.

International Guide Dog Day is a pivotal day in our calendar and we hope you too can join us in raising awareness of the important role of Guide Dogs all over the world.

If you would like to be kept up-to-date with announcements about International Guide Dog Day in the coming weeks, please register your details below.

Did you know the combined efforts of everyone involved in the 2019 Guide Dog Day Street Appeal raised an amazing total of $40,486! As a result, we were able to welcome new puppy in training Daisy to the pack! We’re hoping to better that in 2020, but we can’t do it without your help.
