Lend a paw this Intl. Guide Dog Day

It’s impossible to feel anything but admiration when you witness the freedom, independence and companionship a Guide Dog brings to a person who is blind or vision impaired.

International Guide Dog Day celebrates Guide Dogs all over the world and the life-changing role they play in the lives of those who desperately need them.

Show your sup-paw-t this International Guide Dog Day, by lending a paw for Guide Dogs!

Grab a friend, colleague, your partner, kids or come alone and join our friendly staff, clients and Guide Dogs in training as we rattle our Mini Dogs, collecting small change that will make a big difference to lives of West Australians who are blind and vision impaired.

International Guide Dog Day falls on Wednesday 26 April, and we need 200 volunteers to help at various collection points across the city.

If you or someone you know can spare 2 hours or more, between 7am – 5pm on Wednesday 26 April 2017, we’d love to hear from you!

We will provide everything you need, including:

  • Hot cup of coffee to kick start your day;
  • Mini Dog collection container; and
  • Vibrant Guide Dogs WA volunteer t-shirt.

Join us as we paint the town orange this International Guide Dog Day!
