Puppy Sponsorship

Every puppy has the chance to change a life. As a sponsor, you give hope and opportunity to West Australians living with blindness, vision impairment and other disabilities.

“Rinty is a real treasure and I am blessed to have him. Thank you to everyone who has supported him and Guide Dogs WA.” – Lorna with Guide Dog Rinty.

For a sole sponsorship of $35,000, you’ll have the opportunity to name your puppy, and have your name or colour logo displayed as sponsor on our puppies in training page.

You’ll be able to visit your puppy every six months at Guide Dogs WA, and receive their quarterly ‘Pupdate’ report card to keep up-to-date with their progress.

If your dog is selected to undergo the intensive Guide Dog formal training program and passes their final assessment to go on and be matched with a Guide Dog user, you will be invited to join us in our landmark Babbingur Graduation Ceremony and given the opportunity to share your story and celebrate your dog’s achievement.

Our Guide Dog training success rate is currently 65%. If a dog is assessed and found to be unsuitable as a guide, they will enter an alternate career path and make their mark as a Companion, Assistance or Therapy Dog for children or adults with a disability, or disadvantaged and at-risk youth.

Regardless of their placement, you can rest assured knowing that every puppy that joins Guide Dogs WA will change lives.
