In celebration of National Dog Day on 26 August 2018 and the extraordinary impact Guide Dogs make in our community, we are excited to host an art exhibition of “Pup Art”, featuring our iconic and much-loved, coin collection dogs.

24 life-sized model collection dogs, hand-painted and decorated by local artists and supporters, will be showcased in Perth’s tallest office building, Central Park, St George’s Terrace in the CBD. The exhibition runs from Monday 10 – Friday 21 September 2018 and is open 8.00am – 5.00pm each week day.

The exhibition has also brought together different parts of the community who have generously donated their time and materials including local artists, volunteers and Mosman Park Men’s Shed.

In addition to raising awareness, the exhibition doubles as a major fundraising campaign. Visitors to the public exhibition are invited to vote for their favourite dog by way of donating money into their chosen artwork(s).

The dog that collects the most donations at the end of the exhibition, wins the “People’s Choice Award”, which has been generously donated by Jacksons Drawing Supplies.

Following the exhibition, the decorated dogs will be sold through an online auction, which ends on 26 September 2018. We are thrilled that some local organisations have expressed interest in bidding for a dog to donate to local causes. For further details about the exhibition and online auction, please view our Pup Art Exhibition page.

We would like to thank local organisations including Jacksons Drawing SuppliesPerth Upmarket and Bunnings who have generously donated materials and resources to support the exhibition.
