Will-writing offers for Guide Dogs WA Supporters

Many people put off writing or updating their Will because they feel that it is too confusing, too expensive or too time-consuming. There are now different ways that you can get this important task done including attending a Will-writing event or writing your Will online.

Our popular Bunbury Will writing event is being held again from Tuesday 28 – Thursday 30 November in Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre. Local law firm Groven Legal are again very kindly offering to write simple Wills at a discounted rate of $140 plus GST for Guide Dogs WA supporters. This is a joint event with the Cancer Council WA and bookings can be made by calling them on (08) 9212 4333 or you can come and find us on the day at Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre.

Writing your Will online

Over the last few years many people have become more comfortable working online. There are now several Will writing platforms that enable you to write a simple Will quickly and cheaply online.

Please note that you don’t have to pay anything until you submit your Will for review by their legal adviser, so you can try these platforms to see if they’re right for you before making a payment.

Gathered Here is a fast and free way to write your Will online. Simply visit the Gathered Here  [link opens in a new window] website to get started.

Willed and Safewill offer Guide Dogs WA supporters the opportunity to write their Will online for a discounted fee depending on what offers they have available. Simply visit the Willed [link opens in a new window] or Safewill [link opens in a new window] websites to find out more.

Please note that, whilst we hope that some people will consider leaving a gift in their Will to Guide Dogs WA, you don’t have to do so to take up these offers. The aim is simply to raise awareness of the opportunity to include a gift in your Will if you would like to.
