Yellow labrador laying down among flowers

With the recent community transmission of COVID in Western Australia in particular across the Perth region, the Guide Dogs WA annual Street Appeal on Wednesday 28 April 2021 has been cancelled.

We sincerely thank the many individuals and businesses who have supported this event in the lead up to Wednesday!

While we are very sad to see this important fundraising event cancelled for the second consecutive year, Guide Dogs WA remains committed to ensuring the safety of our volunteers, clients and the wider community!

Guide Dogs WA will continue to recognise International Guide Dog Day and the importance of a Guide Dog to a person living with no or low vision through our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages.

Additionally we look forward to officially launching our new range of limited edition 70th year anniversary merchandise at a later date. Further details regarding this will be announced as soon as available.

The Street Appeal funds the two year specialised training journey of a Guide Dog. With the cancellation of this event over the past two years, we encourage the community to show their support and donate by visiting our donate page or calling (08) 6222 4922.

The funds raised will change the life of a Western Australian in need of a Guide Dog
